Generally speaking, the diet is divided into three separate phases—the loading phase, the weight loss phase, and the maintenance phase.

The Loading Phase

During the first phase, you want to increase your calorie intake by eating plenty of high-fat foods such as hamburgers, fried chicken, pizza, or macaroni and cheese.

At the same time, you will begin to take HCG. The goal is to change the way that your body stores fat.

The Weight Loss Phase

You’ll begin the second phase of the diet on day three. At this point, you want to start eating 500 calories a day while continuing to take HCG.

As far as what to eat, you want to go for something that’s high in protein with no fat and very little carbs. Why? This will allow you to lose fat in the shortest amount of time possible.

Some recommended foods include fish, lean meat, vegetables, and fruits. Avoid sugar and oils. You want to aim for two meals a day—ideally lunch and dinner.

The Maintenance Phase

The last phase begins once you’ve reached your desired weight. During this period, you want to stop taking HCG.

Gradually increase your food intake over the next few weeks. You can eventually add sugars and carbs back to your diet.

For instance, you can begin to eat toast during the first week. After a while, you can add a bit of topping to the bread such as cream cheese.
